Crossroads Care Enfield Limited is looking for people with knowledge and experience in finance and/or business who can spare about 4 hours a month to join its Management Committee.
An informal word from the Director
Carers do an exceptional job in caring for their loved ones and we at Crossroads Care Enfield aim to do an exceptional job in Caring for Carers. Our Care Support Workers provide a respite service in clients own homes enabling their carer to have time away from their caring responsibilities. Our staff are great ambassadors for our service and we have recently gained Investor in People status.
We would like to encourage more local people to become involved in the strategic management of the organisation by joining our Trustee Board. At Crossroads Care Enfield we work across all age and disability groups and I think this makes it more difficult to attract Trustees. One comment I can make is that, statistically it is likely at some time in your life you will take on caring responsibilities and understand the pressures that the role can bring. The fact that Crossroads Care Enfield does work across all age and disability groups is also a great strength in that it has made us a very diverse organisation.
We do have both service user and staff representation on our board and would welcome expressions of interest from local people who have the time and committment to ensure the continued success of the organisation into our 20th year.
